Scope computers. Every route answers 404 hosted_driver_disabled until Allternit turns the hosted driver on for the project. For a walkthrough, see Hosted computer driver. Errors use the usual { "error": { "type", "code", "message", "param" } } shape (Errors); every POST honors Idempotency-Key.

The computer object

status is one of provisioning, starting, running, stopping, stopped, error or deleted.

Lifecycle

Creating or starting a computer can answer 402 spend_cap_reached, 429 concurrency_limit (the key already has per_key_concurrency computers running) or 503 computer_capacity (the developer pool is full; nothing was created). Starting a stopped computer wakes it.

Toolset calls

A 200 is the result, even when the action failed (is_error: true):
Browser calls also return browser_state. Other answers:

Approvals

A 409 approval_required body carries approval: { id, action_hash, member, toolset, risk, confirmation_class, approve_url } and a result with a text explanation and the current screen. Approve it, then resend the same call with approval_grant: approval.id.
Returns { "approval_id": "apr_…", "approved": true, "approval_grant": "…" }. The project owner can always approve from the console. A key can approve only when the project’s approval_mode is api_key; otherwise this answers 403 approval_requires_owner.

Toolset schema

Returns { toolset, contract, anthropic_type, sandboxed, available, model_frame, screen, members }. Each member has name, enabled, reason, default_enabled, risk, needs_approval, description and input_schema.

Events

A log of executed actions, for polling. Pass next_cursor back as after.

Settings

The same settings are on the console’s Platform API → Computers page.
