MCP tools are already documented in the MCP guide. The expanded MCP Apps program adds interactive tool-result views, a sandboxed host, connector proxying, a directory review flow, and Allternit-specific app extensions. The package name is Allternit Plugin; the user-facing interactive view is an MCP App.

September 30 status

The backend and workspace integrations merged on September 30, 2026. Their public developer-docs PR remains open. Source availability and installation readiness are separate: Using the merged host requires deployment or Desktop packaging, configuration, and a live end-to-end app check. The separate developer-docs package still requires merge and publication. The presence of a running sandbox does not establish that the full product flow is available.

Developer documentation prepared with the program

The pending documentation includes building an MCP App, submitting it to the directory, using window.allternit, and selling through an app. It accompanies the integration so its examples and permission behavior match the host that runs them. Until the expanded developer documentation is published, use the existing MCP tools and plugin adapters references for current integrations. Directory acceptance and commerce availability should be checked against the released host rather than inferred from this roadmap.
