Status

Implementation: DESIGN. Exposure: INTERNAL (shell view only). The Autonomous Code Factory (ACF) is registered as a singleton shell view (acf), but the view is a short placeholder. There is no ACF backend: the /api/v1/acf/generate, /validate, /merge and /remediate endpoints that earlier versions of this page listed do not exist in cmd/allternit-api or anywhere else in the platform, and no request/response contract is available.

Intended design

ACF is intended to govern generated code with four pillars: Risk tiers (low, medium, high, critical) are part of this design and are not enforced by any shipped service. ACF is a separate design and is not the Allternit Factory. For code changes that are governed today, see the Factory Gate (determinism contract) and the review process in Gizzi Code.
