Overview
Subscriptions let you use AI plans you already pay for (ChatGPT, Claude, Kimi, Gemini and Copilot) from inside Allternit. You pick one in the model picker like any other model, and bots can use the same logins. Each subscription runs in its own browser on your Sessions computer: a cloud computer you choose for this job, never the computer you work on. Allternit drives that browser for you, and you stay in the loop: nothing is sent unless you start it or approve it. You manage all of it in one place: Settings → Subscriptions.Your plan, as a model
Chat with ChatGPT, Claude, Kimi, Gemini or Copilot through your own account. Usage counts against your plan, the same as using their sites.
Sign in on the provider's site
You sign in on the provider’s own page, on your Sessions computer. Allternit never sees or stores your password.
Several logins per subscription
Keep more than one login for a subscription (for example Work and Personal) and switch which one is used first.
One login for chats and bots
Bots that need a subscription use the same login. If it signs out, those bots show Needs attention until you sign in again.
What’s offered
Preview connections work through the provider’s own interface. They are best effort: when a provider changes its site or app, a connection can stop working until Allternit updates it.
Set up
1
Choose your Sessions computer
In Settings → Subscriptions, under Runs on, pick the cloud computer that will hold your subscription browsers. It can’t be the computer you’re working on or a bot’s computer.
2
Add a subscription
Choose Add account and pick ChatGPT, Claude, Kimi, Gemini or Copilot. Read the provider notice, then choose Continue to the provider.
3
Sign in
A sign-in window opens on your Sessions computer, and you see it in Allternit. Sign in the way you normally do. Use Full screen or Actual size on the screen if something is hard to reach.
4
Done
Allternit notices the sign-in by itself and marks the subscription Ready. You don’t need to tell it you’ve finished.
Security checks
Some providers show a “Verify you are human” check. Allternit never solves these for you. When one appears, the subscription shows Finish the check in the login window. Complete it on the Sessions computer and Allternit picks up from there on its own.Several logins for one subscription
A subscription can have more than one login, for example a work and a personal ChatGPT account.- Add another: in Settings, choose Add account again. In the model picker, choose Add another provider login. The new login gets its own name, such as “ChatGPT 2”.
- Choose which one is used first: the login marked Used first handles your chats. Choose Use this one on another login to switch, in Settings or in the model picker.
- Rename: choose Rename to give a login a clear name, such as Work or Personal.
- When one is busy: if the login used first hits its usage limit or signs out, Allternit uses your other signed-in login for that subscription.
Bots
When you connect a bot to a vendor that runs on one of your subscriptions (for example OpenAI dots, which run on ChatGPT), the bot’s connection setup asks you to pick one of that subscription’s signed-in logins, or to sign in another. Nothing opens on your own computer. Allternit checks your subscription logins about once a minute. If a login needs signing in again, every bot using it shows Needs attention. Sign in again from Settings → Subscriptions and the bots can continue. Their threads are kept. What the statuses mean
When a login needs signing in again, or a check needs finishing, Allternit records it as an event (
subscription.login_needed, then subscription.signed_in once it’s ready again), which is sent to Allternit’s cloud event service along with your other bot events. See Runtime events forwarder.
Usage left shows what the provider’s own page shows, when it shows it. Some providers only show it sometimes. If the reading is older than a few hours, Allternit says when it was seen.
Boundaries
- Allternit never sees or stores your password. You sign in on the provider’s own site.
- Allternit never solves verification checks for you.
- Nothing is sent through a subscription unless you start it or approve it.
- Usage counts against your plan’s limits. Allternit can’t raise them.
- Your account is with the provider, and the provider’s own terms apply to how you use it.
- Allternit can’t promise a provider will stay available, keep its limits, or keep its site unchanged. When a provider changes, a subscription can stop working until Allternit updates it.
Workflow reference
See Connected subscriptions for capability availability, human initiation, Sessions-computer placement, and troubleshooting.Gemini and Copilot preview
Gemini and Copilot are carried vendors with thread looks and connection setup in Settings → Subscriptions. Choose Add account, select the provider, read the provider-terms warning, and sign in yourself on the Sessions computer. On the phone, open Settings → Subscriptions and use the live computer sign-in view. These connections use theui_bridge lane and are best effort. Gemini and Copilot are new and not yet verified against the live services. A look, seeded vendor entry, or signed-in account does not prove that every provider capability works. Provider page changes can interrupt a connection. The terms warning describes account and provider-terms risk; acknowledging it does not grant permission from the provider or remove the human-initiation requirement.
